30 Day Challenge--Day 9

A book that I thought I wouldn't like but ended up loving.

A few years ago I became friends with a guy who lived and breathed fantasy books.  At the time, I was mostly into the classics, all book snobbery pretentious like and such.  Eventually he found out that while my book genre variations may have been a little lacking, I am a complete and utter fantasy-loving nerd when it comes to tv and movies. So, after much, much convincing he got me to read my first ever honest to god fantasy series. And I loved it.  I can't say that Incarnation of Immortality is a great series.  I loved On a Pale Horse, but the rest in the series I just liked.  However, it spawned a love of so many new genres and made me realize how much of an idiot I was for not giving more books a chance.

Incarnations of Immortality is just like it sounds.  Each book tells the story of a different incarnation, Death (this one), Time, Fate, War, Nature, Good, and Evil.  The series has it's highs and lows like any other but reading it all is still worth your time.
