This book was amazing and terrifying at the same time. It was written in 1953, but it really makes you think of the state of the world now. In a world of mindless tv (have you seen the reality shows these days?), without any real face to face connection between people, and without books, there are still people who are willing to fight for what they believe People willing to refuse to leave her books even if it meant being burned along with them. People willing to break away from society to be able to spread the word. As scary as Fahrenheit 451 was to me, it still gave me hope.
