30 Day Challenge--Day 12
A book that I love and hate at the same time..
I was a hot mess after I finished Feed. A furious hot mess, but a hot mess nonetheless. I loved most of the book. It was a little slow in the beginning but was unputdownable through the rest of it. And then the ending happened. That ending. I'm pretty sure that I've established through previous posts in the challenge that I don't handle deaths well. And I did not handle this death well. At all. It caught me completely off guard and almost made me refuse to read the rest of the series in protest. The ending still pisses me off even though I eventually came to terms with everything as the trilogy went on. Obviously not enough though.
Overall the entire Newsflesh series was really good. The latter two books weren't nearly as awesome (and traumatizing) as Feed though.
