Who doesn't want to have their very own pet favorite author to write books for them?
On a slightly more serious note, this book was disturbing goodness. It's one of the more tame (not sure that is the right word to use here) of the King books I've read so far, but the subject matter was still messed up nonetheless. I've never really been a fan of the more "realistic" horror story lines like stalkers, sociopathic killers, etc. I like my horror more out there because it gets my imagination wandering more and ends up scaring the hell out of me. So, it says something for me when a book like Misery can still make me a little hesitant for all of those crazy fangirls out there. It makes me glad that I have zero writing ability, at least I'm safe from that.
