I hate cliffhangers.

That's what I get for reading something before reading the reviews. Now I remember why it's been sitting unread on my Nook app that I haven't opened in months.  

 

I'll avoid reviewing this since now I'm forced into reading the second one to find out what in the hell is going on.  How can an entire book add nothing but confusion?  Please, someone tell me that everything gets cleared up in the second one and I'm not going to want to gather a pitchfork wielding mob to go after the author with?
